Rockford Fosgate Launches TMA Adaptive Amps, a Tuning App and RF Link 2.0 at SEMA 2026

Rockford Fosgate used SEMA 2026 to launch what it calls a connected ecosystem: a new family of TMA Adaptive amplifiers with built-in DSP, a phone app to tune them, and an updated RF Link network that ties amps, controllers and other gear together. The company also showed new side-by-side kits with 10-inch subwoofers, marine controllers and its first RV speakers. The announcement went out on 3 November.

The short version

  • TMA Adaptive amps: TMA-600X4, TMA-750X6, TMA-1000X1 and TMA-1200X5 (600 W to 1,200 W total).
  • Each has integrated DSP, Bluetooth, RF Link 2.0, Constant Power 2.0 and IPX7 Element Ready construction.
  • Rockford Fosgate app (iOS and Android): gain, crossovers, time alignment, 32-band parametric EQ and guided setup; no account needed.
  • UTV kits: Can-Am Maverick R Stage-6 with dual 10-inch subs, and a Polaris RZR PRO kit with one 10.
  • Not announced: prices, ship dates and per-channel power ratings.

The TMA Adaptive amplifiers

ModelTotal power (Rockford)Likely use
TMA-1000X11,000 WMono sub amp
TMA-600X4600 WFour speakers
TMA-750X6750 WSix channels, e.g. speakers plus a bridged sub pair
TMA-1200X51,200 WOne-amp system: four speakers plus a sub

Rockford says the series has the highest power-to-size density it has ever made. The release gives total power only, not ratings at specific loads or channel counts, so the “likely use” column above is our reading of the model names rather than published specs. All four are sealed to IPX7, so they suit boats, UTVs and open Jeeps as well as cars.

The app and RF Link 2.0

  • Tuning: gain, crossovers, time alignment, a 32-band parametric EQ and Punch EQ+.
  • Setup: guided C.L.E.A.N. 2.0 calibration and “Load + Go” vehicle-specific tunes for supported kits.
  • Management: saved presets, a four-digit PIN, diagnostics and firmware updates.
  • RF Link 2.0: up to 16 devices including four TMA amps on one Bluetooth LE connection; new cables carry data, power, ground and turn-on together. A DRLC-10 remote with a 40-step dial adds dash control.

Other launches

  • Can-Am Maverick R Stage-6 (select 2024 and newer): 1,200 W, eight speakers and dual 10-inch subwoofers.
  • Polaris RZR PRO Stage-6 (select 2020 and newer with Ride Command): 1,200 W, seven speakers and one 10-inch sub.
  • Marine: PMX-6BB hide-away media receiver with NMEA 2000, and an HTML5 controller for compatible chartplotters.
  • Adventure Series RV speakers: 6.5-inch, 50 W RMS, 1.25 inches deep, in black or white.

What it means for you

If you’re planning a car system today, the app and DSP matter more than the wattage. Built-in tuning means a single TMA amp could replace a separate processor in a modest system, which is the job a standalone DSP does now. For a subwoofer, the TMA-1000X1 is the model to watch; until its ratings at 1 Ω and 2 Ω are published, use our amp matcher with today’s amps, such as those in our monoblock guide.

Our take

An app-tuned amp family with a proper parametric EQ and time alignment is a sensible step, and a Rockford dash remote on the same network makes the bass knob part of the system rather than an extra cable. The missing pieces are the important ones: real per-channel power ratings, prices and dates. We’ll update this post when Rockford publishes them.
